1. Sulfur Dioxide, Nitrogen Oxide
2. The burning of Fossil Fuels
3. It makes water sources like lakes, rivers, and oceans more acidic which is deadly to aquatic animals/plants. It also destroys important nutrients in soil which is essential for plants to grow. Affecting plants and animals also disturbs the whole food chain.

Tier 2 - Benefits of Dams
Benefits of Dams
Tier 2
I think that the advancing technology of dams is a good thing. Building dams has many more positive affects than negative. Dams prevent high flood risk rivers from flooding as often or even at all. Also, the water that builds up behind the dam serves as many purposes. They create more jobs for people and the water can be used for things such as a campground lake and boat launch facilities. Dams don’t only create useful reservoirs, but they also form great irrigation land which give farmers more jobs. A great source of electricity is another positive you get from dams. Hydro electricity generated in dams is great way of energy for places near by to the dam, generating about 103,800 megawatts of energy. I think all these things listed above are the most important things that support my point of view. The fact that many things show the 3 Gorges dam is also hurting China in some ways. I think it is better that they have it because it slows down the flooding rate by a ton and is used for a big amount of renewable energy.

Italy Weathering
The type of weathering is Mechanical because the thing destroying the coliseum is frost wedging. Water is going in through cracks and is freezing which is expanding and breaking pieces off.

Global Warming Real or Not?
I lean more towards that it is fake. I think that humans and the "Green house affect" are worsening this situation, but from doing the ice core lab and reading some of these facts, I believe that we are entering a interglacial warm period, and "global warming" is just making come a little faster.

China Soil Problems
1. China loses about 666 square-kilometers a year from soil and water loss.
2. A chinese profesor has discovered that 37.2% is suffering from "soil erosion."
I can't believe that China is losing so much soil and water per year
